Sorry posted this wrong first time link is okay now. What is tyranny? What defines it? Would we see it coming? Are we headed for fascism? Are we there already?

This is a very thought provoking documentary by a guy called Larken Rose. It asks questions that the main media dare not touch. What is the nature of our current society and leaders? Are we awake to what is really happening around us? Do we really know where we are headed?

Hungary has paid off debt and got out

Some time back Hungary paid off it's deficit and got out which is what Ireland should be doing. It has also reverted to using it's own country. No fear of Ireland ever waking up.

Book launch by the Meath writers circle

Okay well last night, being Friday 18 October 2013, I had the great pleasure of attending the launch of Meath writers circle anthology, a compilation of prose and poetry. The launch was attended by hundreds, from near and far. A good night with songs, music, poems, stories, food and drink. It was launched by the one and only Pat Farrelly, the main man for many years behind the Scurloughstown festival committee, a good guy. He said, he was only coming on as a "sub" for the other guy who couldn't make it.  We had attendees from the Scurloughstown Olympiad, from the Boyne writers, the Meath writers and people from God knows where. Our main hosts, and the ones who put the anthology together and got funding and publishing done, were Frank Murphy and Willie Hodgins, well done guys, a fine job. Frank and Willie also compered the evening. Mention was made of the late great Tommy Murray founder of the Meath writers and friend. I took many photos but because of the dark room, my camera was being temperamental and only half came out, well I tried people. So I'll give you what I have. I have two poems in the book myself and am looking forward to sitting down and having a good read of all the other pieces therein. Well done to all involved and all who turned out, a great night.

We had a high nellie charity cycle here in Ballivor quite recently and all went well a good day was had by all

Meant to post this here before but forgot anyway here is this one I wrote called "We bite the hand"

          We bite the hand

We bite the hand that starves us, we bite the hand that cheats,

That keeps us down by any means, with many great deceits.

We bite the hand that cuts, we bite the hand that kills.

That hurts the weak and innocent, and tries to break our wills.

We bite the hand that fills the world with viciousness and lies.

Who take away our freedoms and watch us with their spies.

We fear not all their tyranny and the things they do for gain.

Afflicting poor and helpless, indifferent to their pain.

We  bite the hand that tells us we are born to be their slaves,

And praises our fallen heroes while dancing on their graves.

Who would only wish to brutalize and subjugate the earth,

Only seeing our children for the money they are worth.

We bite the hand of twisted minds, who crush the people down.

We are not crushed, we are not beaten, our day will come around.

Someday it will be all over and truth shall then be known.

Then we will be at peace together and make this world our own

We bite the hand a poem by me which I wrote not too long ago

There are so many injustices in our society today causing misery all around for so many. Some people think it has nothing to do with them, because they're okay and to hell with everybody else. There are others, however, who have stood their ground against the minions of the state, the banks and others, risking their own necks to help so many, sometimes simply by showing that they gave a damn and that people in trouble were not alone. Some people go to church and call themselves Christians but you would never know it from the lives they lead. I wonder how they will feel when they are in trouble, as many people are, through no fault of their own. My father was a fearless, determined  man, you could always rely on him to stand with you when you needed help, in his heyday. He remembered the British Black and Tans and their doings when he was a child in Galway. He used to say: "I was a man when a man was wanted," and that he was. When they buried him one of my relations said to me at the funeral,"he's the last of the ould sthock." And that seems more true today than ever.
Perhaps  too there ought to be "Christians when real Christians are wanted" Churches have never represented Christianity to me, to me they are all about money and power.Though one does find a Christian among them from time to time. But this is no religious lesson and I'd be hardly the one to give it if it was..
.This poem is for the people, some, though not all, who say they don't even  believe in God at all, but they behave as Christians and real citizens should, regardless of their beliefs, and help their fellow men women and children. Whether it is evictions or food or money or a shoulder to lean on etc. Above all they stand up both as individuals and together against the ongoing oppression of their fellow citizens involving the collusion of financial interests and the state not just in Ireland
but the world over. I give you: "We bite the hand".

Then we will be at peace together and make this world our own.

Irish life and me an amazing book

Do you know your rights? Do you think that all law is lawful? Do you know the difference between common law and maritime/British company law? Which has precedence over the other? Do you think taxation is legal just and fair? Well here is a link, if you don't buy the whole book on e-book or hard copy, you can download the first chapter for free. These guys have won court cases using common law. The powers that be tried everything to stop the books release, using dirty tricks. Now it is out, read it and make them weep for a change:

Interview by Brian Gerrish with Bill Maloney really good , a bit shocking be warned

Both of these men are tireless campaigners in their fields, Bill a former child abuse victim himself, has gone a long way towards exposing the secret horror story that is child abuse. It has existed almost forever and continues unabated in our midst still, for all the media coverage. Be warned some of this you may certainly find offensive, if not stomach churning. Be well my friends.

So what is language?

Now this is a thought provoking piece and should be of interest to all my fellow word smiths out there. It begs the question: What is language and how can it be defined? Part 1 of 2

Monday, 12 August 2013

Greetings all

Hi everyone I haven't put very much in my blog lately I have been a tad busy been a  under pressure, lots going on . I was a Steward at the Moynalty  Steam threshing festival last Sunday a huge turn out and great weather.
On other matters many of my protest buddies are busy all over the country trying to make their voices heard and their presence felt.
I have been scribbling a bit but not as much as I should be, the next book? Well I'll get there yet, written but not published. I was also involved in Trim, in the Haymaking festival with Scurloughstown Olympiad, and with the vintage festival with other friends, both got good turnouts. No pics I do apologise, I forget my camera when I most need it. Still reading poetry in nursing homes Navan and Trim.I got invited to a few writing events but sadly could not attend (car trouble I fear).
The Ballivor library commitee of which I am now vice Chairman still plods along, while its resilient members still hang in there for better or worse.
My friend, and MSI radio DJ Sean Maguire is having a booklaunch in Galway soon for his new book of poetry. I think it's called Out of the Bag , like his show.
I missed the Battle of the Books this year, I was not participating this time, but I hear there was a bit of controversy involved, congrats to the Boyne writers and commiserations to The Meath Writers. I am surprised our old friend Tommy Murray's ghost did not make an appearance to stir it up. I had many the chat with him about the event before he died and he was always planning for the next one and working out his strategy.Sadly missed but not forgotten.
I am sure I am forgetting a lot of things I should mention. I was glad protester Tony Rochford came off his hunger strike, when I spoke to him in Dublin after 20 days without food he looked decidedly unwell, well done Tony.
There have been a number of meetings up and down the country with different groups, one attends what one can.
During the Summer my old friend and fellow writer Kieran Furey had a reading, birthday party and, well attended, farewell party in Longford which myself and a friend attended to wish him well before he left for Sweden
Well that's all I can think of. for the moment another writers event coming soon I will try to have my camera this time. Regards to you all.Be well, James.

This is for those who are worried about the property tax, these are the attack the tax people and this is a meeting held in Cork. They expose the great "scam", one of many for which we have fallen and the lying sacks of shit politicians that purport to represent us in the Oireachtas.I have been to one of their meetings and came away both enlightened and angry.Quite frankly, I'm getting more angry by the day.

About satanism and society

What many people don't realize is how steeped in satanism and sacrificing children our past is.The biblical word for satan was Baal and the Irish word for May was Baaltine or Bealtine literally translated the fires of baal. On the first of May every year they would drive children and cattle between two great fires. All were sacrificed to Baal. A book about the Occult and satanism says that this is why children still disappear all over the world every year, including Ireland and are never properly investigated, because the powers that be are involved. Read the planned destruction of Christianity in Ireland by Jeremy James as one source of info.

About Che Guevarra may have spelled that wrong

Anyway here's the link quite interesting enjoy

Well if you still don't know about the new world order and the Bilderberg group I suppose there is no time like the present to start learning. Is there?

Here is a link to a 2 hour film to tell you where our world is headed, in fact we are just about there. Lucky us.  I am still gobsmacked that there are actually people with no clue about any of this. How could such a thing be possible?

This piece caused me to re-evaluate how I use my mobile phone.Cancer is not a desirable affliction so watch this and share it.

Well I am as guilty of bad practice as the next but this recent video made me think again. Some of it is a bit technical but the main points are well made, really worth a watch:

Re the next big thing

For those seeking my contribution to the next big thing as I was tagged by Michael.Well the person I was going to tag said no and others did not step into the breech, so I am waiting for someone willing to have a go before I write a word on the matter. Sorry about the delay and all that, I had not expected so many fearful and unwilling people, maybe it's superstition.
Oh well can't be helped my friends, be well.

A poem I wrote on new year's eve as 2013 was about to begin

Tomorrow is waiting
Another new year now is near, but dark days are not over.
People dance and shout and cheer, though I am still wide awake and sober.
Sold out by the ones who lead, where must the people go now?
Obeying laws that make them small, doing only what they allow.
Cast adrift in the foolish throng, believing more lies, about some impending, vital gain,
And foolish talk of a shining future, without tragedy or pain.
Cover up this nonsense, and straighten out the past,
The end is nigh, it soon will come, this present cannot last.
Oh dark, deep night why do you cheat and kill the souls that feed you.
What will you do when comes the day that no one really needs you.
The scathing hour that passes on and leaves our dreams behind it,
A clever thought is washed away to where nobody seeks to find it.
A vision of pillars in empty halls, to comfort stupid minds.
Illusion comes and and confusions stare, while this grand deception blinds.
Cover now this thinking, for dawn is almost here.
"And is there hope?" you ask of me, as crippled friends draw near.
The past still haunts me, it hurts sometimes, to think of all the waste,
I tried every fruit within my reach, some were sweet, some were bitter to taste.
Am I saved or am I lost? Did I sell myself too cheap?
It's all the same, in loss and gain, when you are in too deep.
Free the light for all to see, give up this wounded pride.
I felt the fire, how fierce it burned, while a dagger pierced my side.
Some friends were false, and some were fools and left me badly shaken.
It's not the first time, nor perhaps the last, that I have been mistaken.
Did I learn too much or not enough, to heal the ones I shattered,
I wonder now was my life complete? Did I do what really mattered?
Oh come old friend lets talk a while of better times gone by,
When we were young and full of fun, oh don't the years just fly.

Here is an article I posted on facebook to vent some of my feelings about where our country and world is going

Our country, what next? Here is something I have thought long and hard about. Changed my views again and again, and disgarded many possible solutions because for one reason or another I thought they would not work, too difficult to implement, not practical etc.
Here are a few of my thoughts on these matters. It is something to reflect on for all our various protest groups and angry citizens, pulling sometimes, though not always, in different directions. Well intentioned people, with some good ideas, caring, compassionate, good hearted and patriotic. We all know what we don't want, some of us have individual causes and are prepared to fight to the death for them, some just want to get this government out and change society. All very laudable, but the thing is what exactly do we want or need and how do we go about getting it? Yes change, but how and what?
Here, let me stress I am merely putting forward some ideas here, for one reason or another such ideas might be impractical, unworkable or just a bad idea. Some may require courage which people do not have. But hey, I'm just thinking out loud here. Read it disagree, forget it, no matter, I am just forwarding ideas and opinions here. You have your own minds accept or reject them as you choose.
One assumes we all want a fair, honourable and just society. A fairer sharing out of our country's wealth so that all get a fair crack of the whip. It's not a crime to be rich of course, but it may be a crime to be excessively rich when so many are in abject poverty and for all their high tech security, the wealthy need not expect to remain safe and secure, if people get desperate enough and if the country or indeed the world collapses, their wealth could disappear overnight or indeed simply become irrellevent. Currency, property, shares, gold, silver etc, these things only have value while people believe in them and attach value to them or indeed can afford them. I might add the same applies to power and politicians, perhaps moreso.
The president of Rwanda, whose name evades me right now, remarked:
"If the rich will not share it's wealth with the poor, the poor may soon share their poverty and chaos with them."
So then I would say it is in the interest of the wealthy to have a fairer society, in which people are safe and secure in their homes with food on the table and an adequate standard of living for themselves and their families.
My father, now long dead, who worked in England for a time said of the powers that were, at the time in England:
"Every time the dole queues got too long they'd start a war somewhere and wipe out a load of them."
Things have not changed very much today, the poor do the dying and the super rich get richer. If the wealthy people's only solution is to wipe us out, well what can one say to that. They've done it for generations but no one really looked before. There have in some countries you would not expect, been paedophiles, thieves and child murderers, mass murderers and sick people in power and intelligence services, again paid for by the people, were aware of this and are aware of this but did not expose such doings. It seems that criminality can be overlooked when it suits the institution to turn a blind eye. Evidence of criminality in government throughout the world has been and is rife and so far they have got away with it very nicely indeed especially in the west. Truth is a fearful thing.
Governments owned by the rich or favouring the rich, powerful or influential are anathema to a just society.
I have thus far been speaking in generalities and not specifics.
What then of Ireland? We want to get it right this time and not become the ultimate downfall of our country.
Someone wrote,
"The E.U. is a rich man's club composed of and run by and for former colonial powers."
Could be, but I suspect it is more complicated than that at a world level, with many more players included, though it may well amount to the same thing for the smaller countries. An American friend of mine, ex-military recently told me he was certain that America was controlling the EU. Again I suspect there is more to tell and be known.
Communism as it was implemented, amounted to another dictatorship and spread much misery and poverty rather than sharing the wealth. So we seek something combining fairness, justice, integrity, efficiency and practicality in it's function: Simplify bureaucracy, law and government, make them practical, accessable, understandable, efficient and just.
Economists got us to here so take their advice in very small doses, if at all.
In my opinion, we need to withdraw from the EU and perhaps draw up a new agreement by which (as a sovereign nation) we can still do business and only that.
Or do we dare to further "sup with the devil", as it were.
"Be certain that he who has betrayed thee once will betray thee again" (Johann Kaspar Lavatar)
Withdraw from organizations which while pretending to support peace merely propagate the power of the great war machines of the world. We must have our own currency, printed, controlled and administered by our government and not some privately owned bank out for profit. All debts could be paid off with this currency and we'd get it the same way everybody gets it, by printing it from fresh air. Much as they may try to pretend otherwise. In fact what they print is actual debt and charge countries interest to draw down their own money, as well as repaying the original principle and thus enslave the people in bottomless, eternal debt. The only other option is to default on all bank debt, our sovereign debt is actually managable. If the big boys decide to stomp on us and our new currency, default on everything they are owed. Close down their agents and pals in our midst and their multinationals, make sure they don't get another cent from this country. I don't say it would be easy but if we work together we could come out of it in control of our own destiny at last and start again. I think such an action, over time, would mortally wound the financial criminals and their minions despite their arrogance.
Reduce wages and pensions which are excessive and give all a fair income which permits them to have a reasonable standard of living.
Seize all oil and gas resources until a new contract can be drawn up which ensures a fair shake for the Irish people and our country. Research alternative energies which would allow us to produce our own energy to run our cars heat our homes and run our industry.
Take back the 300 mile exclusion zone along our coastal waters which was usurped by the EEC, forerunner of the EU with it's common fisheries policy, which ultimately destroyed the Irish fishing industry. This policy allowed huge foreign trawlers to have carte-blanch in Irish waters while Irish fishing vessels were esentially regulated to oblivion, piecemeal.
Encourage local democracy, innovation and fund local projects and encourage ideas and development at every level.
A proper enquiry needs to be made into the financial chaos and be they banker, politician or civil servant if they are found to have been involved in scullduggery they should have their pensions revoked and possibly jailed if required.
Secret organizations and those whose loyalties are elsewhere need to be rooted from all levels within the system, especially positions of government and authority. Certain laws need to be looked at and possibly removed.
While I have nothing against foreign migrants, it seems only reasonable that priority should be given to getting Irish citizens, I include migrants who now have citizenship, into jobs before allowing further immigration.
Avoid, where possible, looking like a police state but be prepared to oppose strongly, those who seek to subvert the progress of our nation. Particularly those who seek to tyrranize our nation using debt and sharp practice as a cugel to beat us down.
As regards the endless taxes loaded onto the people's backs, which stifle all growth and tyranize the population. So many taxes make our businesses uncompetitive not to mention what it does to ordinary people. The great lie that we are a low tax economy is the biggest crock of shit ever. It gives people no chance whatsoever, of ever of rising from the mire of insolvency and perpetual struggle. Many taxes could be abolished if the debt situation was sorted and it could be.
I definitely believe there should be an upper limit put on all excessive wages and pensions , which often go to people whose jobs from society's point are more parasitic than productive and in some cases do more harm than good.
Government terms should be shortened and subject to review, by the people who should be able to dismiss them on grounds of corruption or incompetence etc. People need to have far more access and influence on government, ordinary people and not merely the special few with money and influence to bribe and bully and get their way.
We need new approaches to criminality, drug addiction, homelessness, mental problems and children's welfare and education.
We live in a very predatory society, it is not a kind or caring world that we live in, nor is it forgiving of mistakes or misfortunes, making it hard to get back up when you fall.
Zbigniew Brzezinski: Barack Obama's former mentor remarked in a speech,
"Years ago it was easier to control a million people than to kill a million people, today it is easier to kill a million people than to control them."
Is that where we're headed? To be slaughtered with weapons paid for by the taxpayer. These weapons we were told through the media were to keep us "safe" from terrorists, Russians, Iraqis, Al Qaeda, or some other invented baddie to scare the shit out of everybody and make them comply with the current agenda, but the enemy was within all along. Was it not?
So if given the opportunity to change things, would our people run around like frightened, spineless, headless chickens? Or would they rise to the challenge and face down the ones who seek to enslave us, come what may and rise to the challenge with rational determination and imagination?
" I have often noticed that when chickens quit quarrelling over their food, they often find there is enough for all of them. I wonder if it might not be the same with the human race." (Don Marquis)
By the by if you have anything to add/ better suggestions, let us hear them, that is my 10 cents worth on the matter, take it or leave it.
